Walt Disney World around 1979

When I was about 9 years old, my parents took my sister, brother and me to Walt Disney World for the very first time. I wish I could recall more from this trip. We spent only one day there. The other days on our vacation were at Cape Canaveral and Sea World. I just love looking at what everyone was wearing.

    Great new blog, MaryJo! Love all the old pictures. We were there 2 years after that and our styles were much the same! It is fun to look back at what characters were "in" back then, too! Good luck in your marathon at DL, maybe we'll be able to meet at the expo or Grand Cali. We'll be there from 9/10-9/13!

    Thank you for the sweet comments, Allison. I am so disappointed that I missed seeing you and Darci at D23. I spent several hours on Saturday in the Roy P. Disney presentation and the rest of the time mostly around the WDW Radio booth. And we left Saturday night. You all weren't there on Thursday or Friday, correct?
